The Iron Cactus evolution began in 1996 when Gary Manley and Michael Pottorff restored a historic, turn of the century building on Sixth Street in Austin, Texas that became the original Iron Cactus. The mission of creating a warm, friendly and unique environment was accomplished and today our restaurants provide guests with the best Mexican food and fresh lime margaritas in the markets we serve. Our menu is the culmination of years of dedication and passion by our team of chefs and managers.
